Patla PDF – Privacy Policy

Patla PDF is a browser extension that compresses PDFs, merges and splits PDFs, and compresses images. All processing happens locally inside your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. Patla PDF does not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal data, files, file contents, file names, usage analytics, or browsing history.

• Your files are never uploaded. They are read into memory in the extension page, processed with libraries bundled inside the extension (PDF.js and pdf-lib), and saved back to your device only when you click Download.
• The extension makes no network requests to any server. It contains no analytics, tracking, advertising, or remote code.
• The extension requests no special permissions and no access to the websites you visit.
• The only things stored are your light/dark theme choice and a simple local counter of completed tasks (used to show a one-time "rate us" prompt). Both stay in the extension's local storage on your device and are never sent anywhere.

Third parties

No data is shared with third parties because no data is collected.

Children

The extension does not collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with the extension and on this page.
